Fund 26 Meeting Minutes
The meeting included a discussion of FY20, where the fund balance grew more than expected due to COVID-related reductions in Summer Experience, PD, travel, and Delta vo-tech classes, as well as a pause in technology purchases and emergency radio purchases. The Committee reviewed the FY21 amended budget, which reflects the use of fund balance due to radio expenses, but expects spending surpluses to offset this. A preliminary overview of the FY22 budget picture was presented, based on the Governor's November 1 budget submission, which aims to move technology and maintenance expenses back to the general fund, freeing up funds for curriculum and personal services.

Fund 26 (2014 Mill Levy) Meeting Minutes
The committee reviewed the current year-to-date revenue and expenditures for Fund 26, projecting a surplus for the fiscal year. Planned changes for the upcoming fiscal year were discussed, including the movement of expenses between Fund 26 and Fund 10 due to statewide revenue shortages from COVID-19 and a decline in oil and gas revenue. The committee also discussed the future flexibility of Fund 26, focusing on maintaining positive balances and using the inflationary fund balance to cover growing expenses through fiscal year 2035. A motion was passed to recommend that the School Board set the December mill levy for Fund 26 at a level that raises $2.5M in revenue.
