The primary focus of the meeting was the consideration and recommendation of four votes concerning amendments to previous contractual agreements related to the 2024 Massachusetts School Building Authority's (MSBA) Accelerated Repair Program (ARP) projects at various Boston Public Schools in Dorchester and East Boston. These amendments involved granting time extensions and increases in contract costs for services related to Owner Project Manager (OPM) and design services with Watermark Environmental, Incorporated, TSKP Studio, LLC, Atlantic Construction and Management, Inc., and Matz Collaborative Architects, Inc. The scope changes generally extended deadlines to December 31, 2028, and moved project phases from schematic design to design development for some schools.
