Construction Managment and Inspection (CMI) Services for Renewable Energy and Storage Project RFP

Description: The City of Gardena Transportation Department (GTrans) seeks a consultant to provide construction management and inspection for its design-build Renewable Energy and Storage System Project at its Transit Administration Facility. The project includes an approximately 555.1 kWDC solar canopy, a battery energy storage system, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, with solar-canopy construction expected to begin in mid-November 2026 and battery storage construction in early 2027. The consultant will mobilize with the design-builder and handle construction management, inspection, coordination, project documentation, schedule and cost management, labor compliance, and closeout.
