Description: Work under the resulting IDIQ will encompass two primary objectives: The first objective of this contract is to develop, maintain, and update non-proprietary, consensus-based multimodal Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) standards, specifications, and data structures. The second objective of this contract is to support the nationwide deployment and adoption of multimodal ITS technologies through testing, validation, reference implementations, and stakeholder engagement. The work concerns development, governance, maintenance, and stewardship of the Mobility Data Specification and Curb Data Specification, standards adopted in more than 1,200 cities. This is a sole-source contract notice, not a grant announcement, and the notice describes the Foundation as uniquely qualified to perform the requirement.
