Lightweight Hard Armor Polyethylene Composite plates
DLA Troop Support plans a total small-business set-aside procurement for contractor-furnished, Berry Amendment-compliant, shooter’s-cut, stand-alone, non-ceramic UHMW polyethylene hard-armor sets in sizes Small through Extra Large. The planned award is a single firm-fixed-price requirements contract with a five-year ordering period, an estimated annual quantity of 1,200 sets and a 7,500-set maximum; lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation will require product demonstration models, technical data sheets, NIJ certification, and past-performance information. Responses to this presolicitation are due October 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET; DLA anticipates releasing the solicitation through DIBBS in late October.
