Network Access Control
The Canadian Light Source (CLS) seeks proposals for a Network Access Control (NAC) solution for its network of managed computers, scientific instruments, building control systems, and devices used by visiting researchers. The solution is intended to authenticate and authorize devices before granting network access, enforce security policies, segment network traffic, and provide real-time visibility of connected devices. This procurement RFP supports CLS’s broader cybersecurity and compliance goals and sets out technical, functional, and operational requirements for the solution; it is not a grant program.
